Minnesota Photo Booth MRPA 2012

Congratulations to the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association for their 75th Annual Conference!  Established in 1937, the purpose of the MRPA is to improve the quality of life in Minnesota by providing excellent park and recreation services for all Minnesotans.  For the past two summers Bluebird Photobooth Minnesota has participated in the City of Brooklyn Park's Zanewood Family Summer Splash put on by the Zanewood Recreation Center, and this year we were invited to be a Conference Partner of the MRPA 2012 75th Anniversary Annual Conference at Cragun's Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota.  It was a great night in a beautiful location.  Check out some of the action!  The complete image gallery can be viewed HERE.

FUN Vintage Carnival Themed Wedding in Minnesota - Photo Booth Photobooth

WOW! What an absolutely fun and festive wedding theme... there were incredible antique carnival details all over the property.  We felt like true carnies.. and it was the first time I realized I am a carnie! hahaha
This carnival themed wedding was very authentic in every way.... from cotton candy, peanuts & snow cones to carnival games and toys.  The photobooth was a perfect addition to this event. (We had a really great time just being a part of it, especially when a very sweet little boy delivered me some cotton candy!)

The weather was lovely and couldn't have cooperated more precisely as the next day was much more overcast and raining.  Congrats on a VERY FUN wedding!

Summer 2012 Photo Booth California Update!

Summer on the Central Coast of California has brought some amazing weather and incredible events for the BlueBird PhotoBooth!  

Micha and Abe had a quaint and beautiful reception at a private residence in Edna Valley with immaculate gardens and vineyards.  The night couldn't have been more perfect!  Upper Crust catered the event and wowed the guests with great food, as usual (thanks for feeding us!).  I know they worked hard all night...but I did catch a few of them in the Photo Booth!  This was our first time working with Jonathan of Blue Photo, a true photographic talent who's work we've admired for some time.  If you haven't seen his work, make sure you do.  Can't wait to see the photo's Jonathan!  

San Luis Obispo Photo Booth in Edna Valley

  

Our Santa Barbara Photo Booth spent July 4 at the Montecito Country Club, where they threw a huge party on a grassy hilltop overlooking Santa Barbara, and where the guests had a perfect view of the fireworks.

The night was elegant and beautiful, and we had the great fortune to spend some time with old friends.  It was a family affair with young and old alike enjoying the views, killer food by the MCC kitchen, bounce houses, face painting and our Santa Barbara Photo Booth.  Trina, our Graphics Wizard, created a custom 4th of July logo for the prints which looked amazing.  Thank you Claire and Justin for another great night at MCC!

  

Pomar Junction Photo Booth San Luis Obispo

We had the privilege of setting up the Bluebird PhotoBooth at Pomar Junction Vineyard and Winery in Templeton, California for their Parlour Club Mardi Gras Pickup Party on February 12, 2012.  Pomar Junction is one of SLO County’s finest wineries and event locations.  The Earth Day Food and Wine Festival 2012, a huge event featuring over 200 purveyors of sustainably produced food and wine, will held be at Pomar Junction on April 21.  Like wine and food?  You definitely need to go to Earth Day.  

Pomar Junction Winery treats its wine club members to numerous free wine and food events throughout the year.  The weather this past Sunday for their Mardi Gras event was outstanding, with frost at dawn and a cold overcast morning that cleared to beautiful sunshine.  The party featured a jambalaya feast provided by Stein’s BBQ and Catering that was outstanding.  The portions were huge, the quality was top notch, and the family business was a delight to work with.  Delicious cupcakes by The Sweet Life Cupcakery adorned the dessert table.  To top off the day, the Mother Corn Shuckers treated the guests to melodic acoustic riffs of folk and bluegrass.  We packed the band into the Bluebird Photobooth for a finale to the day.  Thank you to all who participated, we had a great time and so did over 300 guests!

Photo Booth Santa Margarita Ranch

Another fantastic wedding night was had at the rustic barns of the Santa Margarita Ranch on February 11, 2012.  Jaclyn and Skip treated bus loads of guests to a wonderful evening of wine, food, dancing and Photo Boothing in celebration of their wedding vows, which were passed on the elegant grass lawn in front of the historic adobe ranch house.  Upper Crust worked long hours to provide a food and dining experience applauded by all.  Kramer Entertainment rocked the house as DJ and lighting technicians; truly a professional setup.  Kaitlin Mullinax, Wedding Planner, tracked down every detail and ran a tight ship to ensure a flawless outcome.  With buses dedicated for their safe return, the guests were not afraid to enjoy the night and show it in the Bluebird Photobooth!  Want a professional wedding in the heart of historic San Luis Obispo wine country?  Check out these vendors, or call us for more details.

The Loft Photo Booth Santa Barbara

Want to find a super cool venue for your next party?  Check out THE LOFT in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone.  It is a one of a kind art studio venue created by two local Santa Barbara entrepreneurs.  With high ceilings, concrete floors and an iron-rail circular staircase to the upstairs loft, its design is art and its function is practical.  It is a live work space that is now being made available to the public.  We threw up our Santa Barbara Photo Booth there last year for a birthday party and had a great night.  Check out a few pics from our booth attendants and spread the word!

FREE Double Strips! Best Photobooth Deal includes DOUBLE PRINTS - Photo Booth Print Options

Most of you {{LOVE}} having double prints, so your guests can keep a copy and you keep a copy.  At Bluebird Photobooth we have options for our print styles.  Not only can you choose BLACK and WHITE or COLOR  but you can choose between PRINT LAYOUTS.

The STRIP STYLE is the traditional photo booth look.  The bonus here is that you automatically get DOUBLE PRINTS included with no additional cost.  It's a 4x6 print that when cut in half is 2x6.

Our photobooth attendant will cut the strips for you right there.  If you have a photobooth scrapbook/guestbook, our attendant(s) will then place the copy in the book and ask your guests to sign it.

The  COLLAGE STYLE is a 4x6 print with the 4 photos arranged to fill the entire print.  People like this style because each of the photos are larger and it fits in a 4x6 frame.  If you choose this style and wanted double prints, you would pay the additional fee to print out a 2nd 4x6 each time.  The sidebar is also larger on this print style.

There are actually endless formats and layouts we can configure.  We can also print larger prints such as 5x7.  Let us know if there is something else we can do to create the style or look you are hoping for.

Cute Bird from Lisa Leonard Jewelry - With Bluebird Photobooth Stampled on it!

I knew immediately when I saw Lisa had this cute stamped bird that we HAD to have one!  We will be using this Bird and Personalized Sign Magnet Board for various purposes on our booths!  We needed a sign to hang when the booth is closed or to let guest know when it is open or...... anything!  So fun!


We love Lisa Leonard Designs and treasure her beautiful and unique jewelry, she even made the jewelry for our bridesmaids at our wedding!   Her family is lovely and she is an inspiration.  IF you haven't heard of her already, check out her website and read her blog.

Greetings Fabulous Photo Booth fans!

We wanted to take this moment to reflect on 2011, thank all of our outstanding clients, remember all the incredible wedding venue’s and other wedding professionals we worked with, and look forward to a bright 2012 in life and business.  2011 was truly a special year for us.  We met many amazing wedding couples and were invited to be a part of their intimate wedding celebrations.  We watched as grandparents and children alike put on goofy masks, wigs and mustaches, and struck poses in the Bluebird Photobooth worthy of inclusion in family albums for future generations to see.  Have you ever seen your grandfather with a Jack Sparrow dreadlock wig? Your son and daughter with Renaissance masks and feather boas?  We have.  And we have proof!

And now for our fellow wedding venue’s and professionals.  Thank you!!  We have had the opportunity to work with some of the best wedding and event professionals around, and we appreciate your knowledge and experience.  You are all truly inspirational to us and continue to push us to new highs in customer service and quality of offerings.
